A Bit About Me

Filled with a passion for others to reach their full potential, I founded Healing Springs, Inc. in 2012, where I lead and utilize my gifts and skills to help others gain emotional, social, and spiritual healing.

I  have a wealth of experience helping develop others, including over 20 years of professional experience in administration, organizational management, and project development. I have worked with the Rochester City School District, non-profits, religious organizations, and individuals to help them grow and succeed. I also served as a worship leader, dramatist, prayer leader, director of fine arts, and in other church ministries.

My focus on personal and professional development led to an associate degree in accounting, a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with focused subject matter on adult learning, ethics, management, and leadership, training in Restorative Practices, and a Certificate in Leadership from the National Institute of Christian Leadership to serve leaders, pastors, and business people.

My goal has always been to gain a better understanding of people and their behaviors. I have integrated my understanding of people, leadership, and my passion for the gospel to create tools and resources to help individuals, families, and organizations flourish.

In 2014, I was featured in Rochester Woman Magazine for my work in Healing Springs.

My husband, Scotty, and I have been married for over 18 years, are ordained ministers, and lead BetterTogether, our pre-marital and marriage coaching segment, which focuses on strengthening and building healthy marriages.

Scotty and I are the proud parents of five adults and two teenage children and have ten beautiful grandchildren!

“Marla Wall has worked with both our Congregation as well as with our Congregational Leaders to ensure that we continue to grow as a restorative community using the practices which are required. Marla has a tremendous ability in helping us both individually and collectively identify the restorative practices that require further development in a fashion that ensures positive responses.  She listens deeply and offers insights which have empowered our organization to make needed changes as a community. Marla is skilled at moving a group from a conflict stance to finding common ground. Her facilitation skills in a group setting are excellent. ."
